Standard Delivery Time
2–5 working days. Large trees and specimen plants may take up to 14 days.

No signature required — you don’t need to be home. Choose a specific date with Premium Delivery.

Premium Delivery — Next Day or Choose Your Own Date
While many customers are happy not to be present for delivery, others prefer to receive their order in person.
Our Premium Delivery option allows you to:
- Select a specific delivery date
- Choose next day delivery
- Next day delivery available on all items when you order before 1pm (Monday–Thursday)
Please note:
- Orders containing large trees or specimen plants may incur additional delivery charges.
- Premium Delivery is typically available Tuesday–Friday (excluding Tuesdays following a bank holiday).
- Some items dispatched directly from our growers may be excluded.

Specialist Deliveries
Some orders require special handling. Here’s what to expect.
Pre-Orders
- Pre-order items will be dispatched once they are back in stock.
- Orders containing both in-stock and pre-order items are usually shipped together, depending on availability (excluding supplier-direct items).
- If you’d like in-stock items delivered sooner, additional delivery charges may apply.
Pallet Deliveries
- Used for large or bulk orders that cannot be boxed.
- Delivery typically takes 24–48 hours, usually via an 18-tonne vehicle.
- Smaller vehicles can be arranged if access is restricted (additional charges apply).
- We recommend being present — pallets can be difficult to move and gravel drives may prevent vehicle access.
Large Plant Deliveries
- Large plants may be too big for pallets and require specialist vehicles or lifting equipment.
- Our team will contact you to arrange a suitable delivery date, confirm access requirements, and advise on any necessary equipment.
- Deliveries are typically made between 8am and 6pm. Tracking details will be sent in advance.
Frequently Asked Questions
We deliver to British mainland addresses. Due to current Brexit rules we are unable to deliver to Northern Ireland or the Republic of Ireland. Scottish Highlands and AB/DD postcodes may incur a delivery surcharge. For the Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Scottish Islands or Channel Islands, please contact our team at [email protected] for a bespoke delivery quote.
Yes — our Premium Delivery option lets you choose a preferred delivery date for a flat £10.99. Order before 1pm (Monday to Thursday) for next-day delivery, or pick your own nominated day. Standard delivery dates can be changed through your account with a £4 surcharge if switching to a nominated date.
All standard deliveries are sent ‘No Signature Required’, so you don’t need to be home. Leave delivery instructions at checkout, but please ensure they are practical and accessible for the driver.
We deliver Monday to Friday. Our Premium Delivery option operates Tuesday to Friday (excluding any Tuesday after a bank holiday). Weekend delivery is not currently offered as a standard service.
Plants can be safely stored for a short time. Please see our planting advice pages for guidance. We also recommend not booking a gardener for the same day as your delivery, as we cannot be held responsible for delays outside our control.
